Do you consider yourself rich or poor ? How do you define rich or poor in general ? Somehow we tend to link rich or poor to material or one’s fortune. Money is one of the many rewards of being rich. The rat race has shape the society to focused on output so much that we forgot the true meaning of richness.

Personally, I prefer to look at it from a bigger picture perspective. The true definition of richness is the quality of our mindset. Mindset is an abstraction of our brain. Knowledge is the food to our brain, which is the input. As we acquire knowledge and skillset, our minds grow and discover wisdom. This process is the journey of life which form one’s mindset. Through quality mindset, the rewards will comes naturally, which answer to why the wise tends to live a fulfilling life.

The rich man (in $) might not be wise, but the wise man will not be poor.

If you find that you are poor, reflect on yourself and change the mindset for betterment. Whining does no good except spreading negativity. Ultimately, you are the product of your own choice.
