Communication is a huge part of our life. We speak for various reason be it a discussion or casual talk.

Sometimes, or perhaps most of the time, it turns out to be gossiping sessions among people with similar interests or things in common.

This phenomenal seems to create prejudice as if we prefer to mingle with the same group only.

The explanation of this behavior is simply because people who have things in common or same frequencies tend to be drawn together. We can get into deep discussion on the topics because having similar interest, knowledge, background as well as experiences in the topic.

However, it entails to perception biases subconsciously, which lead to today’s issue of racism. Sounds serious huh ? Say for example, people from same race tends to hangout together. It’s just because we share similar background, language, food etc. We just feel comfortable being with the gang.

In the study of artificial intelligence, specifically neural network, scientist discover clustering algorithm which emulate how human brain learn using classification technique. Human identifies similarities and form clusters in order to learn and solve a problem. Simply said, we learn by identifying common attributes and label the group. For eg. teacher learn that students who pay attention in class and obedient tends to score better. Through this clustering methods, teacher can craft a different teaching technique for the cheeky kids.

Therefore, it’s all boils down to how human brain function which is a gift from mother nature. So why make it sounds so negative as RACISM ? Seeing from different angles may have new discovery of an issue.  At the end of the day, it’s not an issue at all. Just as Albert Einstein’s quote ‘Look deep into nature and you will understand everything better’ 😊
